Benchmarking Workshop Advanced TVET HiCoE Pathway for Centre for Automotive Engineering

February 5, 2026 I Kuantan - The Centre for Automotive Engineering (AEC), in collaboration with the Research Excellence Management Centre (REM), successfully hosted a Benchmarking Workshop for the Advanced TVET HiCoE Pathway. The event took place at the AC Hotel by Marriott, Kuantan.

The workshop served as a vital platform to strengthen the strategic direction and coordination of the Higher Education Centre of Excellence (HiCoE) Advanced TVET pathway. The primary goal was to ensure the framework remains robust, relevant, and strictly aligned with the evolving demands of the automotive industry.

We extend our deepest gratitude to Prof. Dr. Mohd Farid bin Muhamad Said from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) for facilitating the session. His expertise and strategic guidance were instrumental in driving high-impact discussions.

The session successfully focused on refining the pathway to better serve the automotive ecosystem. The completion of the program was made possible through the joint efforts of AEC and REM.

We hope that the outcomes of these discussions will translate into excellent execution, further empowering the future of Advanced TVET.
